Family Pictures 2013: A Storybook Princess

We had a family photoshoot with Amber Sheree Photography in early July at Amber's Mom's house. Her Mom has a pony (actually two!) and we were all about that given Elyse's recent infatuation with horses. However, you won't see many horse photos. Elyse (in typical toddler fashion) wasn't into it. We had to WORK IT to keep this girl entertained and Amber was patient and strident in the challenge. I had brought a princess dress and tiara she had never seen before and saved it for a few pictures. You will see we had to change into that early as we were having a difficult morning! The theme was yellow, white and grey. We brought lemonade, yellow bubbles, etc. Some things went to plan and some led astray, but, we got a few family pictures. And that was my goal!

Gone (almost) are the days of the in-studio photo shoot where you leave with your photo package in a nice big envelope. Do people even have wallet photos anymore? Amber was the first one to tell me not to go to a studio. She said my camera was nicer than the ones at the studios and that I could learn to take beautiful pictures of my daughter myself. I followed her advice, but it has been hard to get pictures of all of us myself. So, for family pictures, we go back to the professionals. Amber has adjusted her system along the way and has made it really easy. No pictures to order. We paid the big cost and you can share in the images for free!

I am posting all our pictures here and you can either right-click to save or e-mail me and tell me the photo numbers and I can e-mail you them directly. You can print on your home computer or at your favorite place for printing photos: Costco, Shutterfly, Walmart, Mpix, etc. All we ask is if you post anywhere electronically (i.e., Facebook or blog, please give credit to Amber Sheree Photography).
