Christmas 2012 - Photo Review

Our little Christmas angel had a merry Christmas. How about you?

Get ready for  LOT of pictures. And I didn't even take pictures after Christmas morning... The day started out odd - like me thinking I was going to miss Christmas morning with the "D" family by heading to the emergency room with my grandmother. But, it turned out she was quickly sent home (and was OK). Anyway, in the rush, I didn't think much about pictures. But, I still took plenty of the holiday. Here we go!

Christmas at Grandpa Brad and Grandma Deanie's:

She was into helping others with their presents too!

Let me show you how this works, Grandma Deanie...

You have one and I take one.

I'll pour you some and then we can both have a drink. (We have this same measuring cups and home and this is how she plays with them - eats dinner in them, etc.)

Christmas Eve.

I made a bunch of sugar cookies in advance and put them into the freezer before the big day.

Big hit.

"Cheese" face.

Somebody else liked it too.

Except she had to have her own mini frosting dish and spreader.

She did more of this than frosting.

More "CHEESE"!

Little cuties in her room listening to me read them Caillou.

And the newest Christmas angel - Jaxin Jay - born 12/18/12.

Little sweetie - look at his downy hair!

We all had to watch "Elf on a Shelf" to learn about it together.

Time to open presents.

Grandma, "Now what is all the hype about Caillou?"

Someone was getting tired.

Then... Santa came!

Elyse's very own kitchen - stocked with food!

A table with four chairs, paper, and new twistable crayons!

A bassinet for her babies from Grandpa Brad and Grandma Deanie!

Santa filled stockings too! Loaded with goodies - guess the new boots wouldn't fit!

Somebody woke up. Time to draw.

Put the baby to sleep.

Wilson got some catnip mice.

Libby a new bone.

She had just told me, "Shhh - quiet. Baby sleeping" as she made breakfast.

Her very own Caillou doll. So exciting!

Love at first sight.

Don't you just love the Christmas morning hair?

Stacking all of mommy's new ramekins.

It was a fortunate Christmas with lots of love. I hope yours was blessed and you were able to share love and kindness with your family and friends.

Here's to a Happy New Year!
