Day at the Farm: Hunter's

We couldn't picture ourselves getting our pumpkin anywhere outside of our own town. We had fun at Remingler, but pumpkin hunting is best right in our own backyard. We picked Hunter's this year. The pumpkins were a little picked over - by people and the crows - but we had a good time looking for just the right one (or three).

It was a chilly, beautiful, overcast morning.

You can purchase tickets for different activities and Elyse wanted to "bounce".

And this is all the action she saw. It was a little too much for her.

Daddy to the rescue.

Back to our favorite activity. "Riding the horsey" as she calls it.

This smile gets me every time.

Can't you just see it? "I'm so excited, I could burst. But, I'm trying really, really hard to be cool about it!"

We got three great pumpkins. It took a while to convince Elyse that pumpkins grew in the mud and they were all going to be dirty. That's our girl.
