Three Whole Weeks

Three is our favorite number right now. We have had THREE weeks of life with you. We have also had THREE nights this week of you sleeping through the night and two of them were in a row! I need to clarify, we count sleeping through the night as going down for the night between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. and not waking until 2:30 a.m., right back to sleep and back up between 5:30 a.m. and 6 a.m. Our favorite time is this early morning as we let you sleep on our chests for a little while before we get up. I think we all love this snuggle time.

At nighttime, you really enjoy being swaddled.

During the day, we've noticed you'd much prefer to stretch out!

You even let your Aunt Talea give you a manicure and didn't even wake up!

You love snuggles with Daddy.

Keeping you up for a while in the evening has helped you sleep better at night.

Libby and Wilson do love to watch over you.

Wilson does love your things!

Your umbilical cord fell off so you got to try out cloth diapers for the first time.

You can tell easier that you're wet and fuss away to let us know.

As a matter of fact, you've fussed a little more the last couple of days than you have in the last few weeks. But, still nothing we haven't been able to take care of. Just means you're hungry, wet, or need us to keep changing positions to figure out what you like.

I have enjoyed dressing you.

And your Dad has fun being a photographer snapping away trying to get a good one of us. However, you wouldn't look at the camera as you love looking at yourself in the mirror.

We just can't help it - you are too sweet and cute!

We've enjoyed taking you places this week and you just love riding in the car. I could have sworn you smiled at me the other night and Daddy is convinced you laughed at him. Maybe it is just gas, but nonetheless, we love you to pieces little girl. Thank you for making this the greatest time of our lives. What did we do before you?
